R. Kelly’s attorneys have denied the claim, but his fiancée Joycelyn Savage says she is expecting the singer’s child, who is said to be 55 years old.

According to Savage’s book, she found out she was pregnant after Kelly bought her an engagement ring. She is several months along in the pregnancy. According to rumors, the child’s name is Ava Lee Kelly.

“It was a happy day but an incomplete time in my life,” Savage wrote. “Today I am grateful to God for giving me the most precious gift. Robert is extremely excited about the news that I am having a baby and feels sad that Robert will not be able to be here with us.”

She said that while Kelly was in jail, his team sent her “the most beautiful engagement ring” to her house. “Tears were raining down my cheeks,” Savage said, “and I was overwhelmed with joy, but also with sadness, I wanted Robert to witness this very special moment in my life.”

Days after submitting her letter, Kelly received a 30-year prison term. In September 2021, he was convicted guilty of racketeering, bribery, coercion, enticement, and sex trafficking despite having denied all wrongdoing and entered a not guilty plea to all counts.
